Ali Siddiq is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He was born on February 22, 1979, in Houston, Texas.
Siddiq began his career as a comedian while serving a six-year prison sentence for drug trafficking. He performed stand-up comedy for fellow inmates and prison staff, and continued to develop his skills after his release.
Since then, Siddiq has appeared on several television shows, including “This Is Not Happening”, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, and “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents”. He has also released a one-hour stand-up special, “It’s Bigger Than These Bars”, which was filmed at the Bell County Jail in Texas.
In addition to his work as a comedian, Siddiq has acted in several films and television shows, including “The Oath” and “The Last O.G.”.
