The Chainsmokers is an American DJ and production duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. The duo was formed in 2012 in New York City and gained international fame with their hit song “Selfie” in 2014.
Since then, The Chainsmokers have released numerous hit singles such as “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” and “Something Just Like This” in collaboration with Coldplay. They have also released three studio albums, “Memories… Do Not Open,” “Sick Boy,” and “World War Joy.”
In addition to their music career, The Chainsmokers have also been involved in various philanthropic efforts, including supporting organizations such as the American Red Cross, Pencils of Promise, and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
