Justin Gaethje is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on November 14, 1988, in Safford, Arizona.

Gaethje has a background in wrestling and was a two-time Arizona state wrestling champion in high school. He made his professional MMA debut in 2011 and quickly gained a reputation for his aggressive fighting style and knockout power.

In 2017, Gaethje signed with the UFC and went on a tear, winning his first two fights by knockout. He later suffered his first loss in the UFC to Eddie Alvarez but bounced back with a win over James Vick. In 2019, Gaethje scored an impressive first-round knockout over Donald Cerrone and later went on to defeat Tony Ferguson to win the interim UFC lightweight championship.

Trevor Wittman is a well-respected coach and trainer in the world of MMA. He is the head coach at the renowned Grudge Training Center in Colorado and has worked with numerous high-level fighters, including Justin Gaethje.

Wittman is known for his innovative training techniques and his ability to develop game plans tailored to each individual fighter. He has worked with Gaethje for several years and is credited with helping him refine his striking skills and become a more strategic fighter.

Wittman has also worked with other notable fighters such as Rose Namajunas, Kamaru Usman, and Shane Carwin. He has been recognized by the MMA community for his contributions to the sport and was awarded the MMA Coach of the Year at the 2020 World MMA Awards.
