Derek Wolfe is a former professional American football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 9 seasons. He was born on February 24, 1990, in Lisbon, Ohio, and attended Beaver Local High School.

Wolfe played college football at the University of Cincinnati and was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played for the Broncos for 8 seasons, helping them win Super Bowl 50 in 2016. He also played one season for the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.

Throughout his NFL career, Wolfe was known for his physicality, toughness, and versatility as a defensive lineman. He recorded 299 total tackles, 33 sacks, and 1 interception in his career.

Wolfe announced his retirement from the NFL on March 12, 2021, citing health concerns and a desire to spend more time with his family.
