Neal Brennan is an American comedian, writer, producer, and director. He is best known for co-creating and co-writing the Comedy Central series “Chappelle’s Show” with Dave Chappelle, as well as directing several of Chappelle’s stand-up specials.

Brennan began his career in comedy as a stand-up comedian and writer, working on shows like “All That” and “Kenan & Kel” before teaming up with Chappelle to create “Chappelle’s Show” in 2003. The show was a critical and commercial success, and helped launch Brennan’s career as a writer and producer.

Since “Chappelle’s Show,” Brennan has continued to work in comedy, both as a stand-up comedian and as a writer and producer for television and film. He has directed several episodes of the HBO series “The Mindy Project” and the Netflix series “Lady Dynamite,” and has also written for shows like “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” and “Saturday Night Live.”

Brennan has also released several comedy specials, including “Neal Brennan: 3 Mics” on Netflix, which features him performing stand-up comedy, as well as delivering one-liners and personal stories.
