Suzanne Santo is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She is best known as the lead singer of the Americana duo, HoneyHoney.
Santo grew up in a musical family in Ohio and began playing the violin at a young age. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and met her future bandmate, Ben Jaffe, at a party. The two began playing together and formed HoneyHoney, releasing their debut album, “First Rodeo,” in 2008.
As part of HoneyHoney, Santo has toured extensively and released several albums, including “Billy Jack” and “3.” Their music is characterized by a blend of folk, country, and rock influences, with Santo’s powerful vocals and Jaffe’s skilled instrumentation.
In addition to her work with HoneyHoney, Santo has also released solo material, including her debut album, “Ruby Red,” in 2017. Her solo work explores a wider range of musical styles, incorporating elements of rock, soul, and blues into her sound.
