Jon Peters is an American film producer, entrepreneur, and former hairdresser. He was born on June 2, 1945, in Van Nuys, California.
Peters began his career as a hairstylist, and worked with clients such as Barbra Streisand and Warren Beatty. He later transitioned into film producing, and has produced numerous successful films, including “Flashdance”, “Batman”, and “A Star Is Born”. He is known for his collaborations with Streisand, and the two have worked together on several films, including “The Main Event” and “A Star Is Born”.
Peters has also been involved in various business ventures outside of the film industry. He co-founded the production company Guber-Peters Entertainment, and has invested in companies such as Sony Pictures Entertainment and AOL Time Warner.
