Eddie Bravo is an American martial artist, musician, and entrepreneur. He was born on May 15, 1970, in Santa Ana, California.

Bravo is best known for his contributions to the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He earned a black belt under Jean-Jacques Machado, one of the most respected Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the world, and went on to develop his own style of grappling known as “10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu”. This style is characterized by its emphasis on unorthodox techniques and its rejection of traditional Jiu-Jitsu grips and positions.

In addition to his martial arts career, Bravo is also a musician and has released several albums with his band, Smoke Serpent. He is also the founder of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, a martial arts school with locations all over the world, and has authored several books and instructional DVDs on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Bravo has become a prominent figure in the martial arts world and has been involved in several high-profile matches and events. He has also been a commentator for several mixed martial arts (MMA) organizations, including the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
