Cameron Hanes is an American bowhunter, endurance athlete, and author. He was born on October 2, 1967, in Eugene, Oregon, USA. He is best known for his passion for bowhunting and his dedication to physical fitness and endurance training.

Hanes began hunting with a bow at the age of 12 and has since become a highly respected figure in the bowhunting community. He has hunted all over the world and is known for his dedication to the pursuit of big game animals, including elk, mule deer, and sheep.

In addition to his bowhunting pursuits, Hanes is also an accomplished endurance athlete. He has completed numerous ultramarathons, including the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run, and is a two-time finisher of the Hardrock 100, a notoriously difficult mountain race.
