Josh Barnett is a retired American mixed martial artist and professional wrestler. He was born on November 10, 1977, in Seattle, Washington. Barnett began his career as a professional wrestler in the late 1990s, and in 2000, he made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), one of the world’s most prominent mixed martial arts organizations.

During his career, Barnett competed in several organizations, including the UFC, Strikeforce, and Pancrase. He is known for his submission skills and has won several fights by submission. Barnett also held the Heavyweight Championship in both Pancrase and Strikeforce.

After retiring from mixed martial arts in 2019, Barnett transitioned to professional wrestling, where he performs under the ring name “The Warmaster.” He has competed in several organizations, including New Japan Pro Wrestling and Impact Wrestling.

Barnett is also known for his commentary work in mixed martial arts and professional wrestling. He has provided commentary for several organizations, including the UFC, Bellator MMA, and NJPW World. Additionally, Barnett is an accomplished catch wrestler and has competed in several grappling competitions.

Barnett is considered to be one of the most well-rounded fighters in mixed martial arts history and has been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
