Roth started his music career in the mid-1970s when he joined the band Mammoth, which later became Van Halen. With Roth as the lead singer, Van Halen went on to become one of the most successful and influential rock bands of the 1980s, selling over 80 million records worldwide. Some of their most popular songs include “Jump,” “Panama,” “Hot for Teacher,” and “Dance the Night Away.”

After leaving Van Halen in 1985, Roth pursued a solo career and released several albums, including “Eat ‘Em and Smile” (1986), “Skyscraper” (1988), and “A Little Ain’t Enough” (1991). He also ventured into acting and hosting, appearing in films such as “Crazy from the Heat” and “Arrested Development.”

Throughout his career, Roth has been known for his flamboyant stage presence, energetic performances, and distinctive vocal style. He is regarded as one of the greatest frontmen in the history of rock music.
