Joe List is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He is known for his dry wit, self-deprecating humor, and observational comedy style.
List began his career in comedy in the early 2000s and has since performed on a number of popular late-night shows, including “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Conan,” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He has also released several comedy albums, including “Are You Mad at Me?” and “I Hate Myself.”
In addition to his stand-up work, List has also acted in several television shows and films. He has appeared on shows such as “The Comedy Cellar” and “Inside Amy Schumer,” and has had roles in films such as “Stuck” and “The House.”
List is also a co-host of the popular comedy podcast “Tuesdays with Stories,” which he hosts with fellow comedian Mark Normand. The podcast features the two comedians sharing stories and observations from their lives and careers in comedy.
List has been open about his struggles with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and he often incorporates these experiences into his comedy. He has also written about his experiences in a blog for the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and he is an advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization.
